Another Solcial Worker SAME problem

So i get a call from the new solcial worker asking me "why havint we been finger printed? Braytan (my lil bro) is in your house under your care and shouldint be"...

I reply "that he lives with two school teachers and Ive never been to jail so why would we need to be fingerprinted?"

She says "on may 5th you had a solcial worker come to your house and ask that you be finger printed so you where told to do that a while ago"

I reply "Yeah when I lived at that address...I no longer stay there and Braytan has NEVER stayed there"

Long story I know...

Come to find out...the first person that handled our case (David Chernow Solcial Worker 916-875-6837) never made me "Kin", Never cleared the house, and never cleared my original foster mom to watch Braytan durring the day while I go to work. Which also means that, I cant get any med-i-cal for him (As he has a ear infection and fever) or financial help to pay for his daycare, food,or clothes. The kid has been in my care for almost 5 months and this JUST came out?

He had a court date on Aug.27th and guess what yall, I never was called to be told that I have a NEW solcial worker. This is the 3rd Solcial Worker I have had in the last 5 months and I just found that out last friday sept.3rd on my voice mail (they always call from a restricted phone number)

I just want to know...what is the deal with Solcial workers not doing there jobs? Cutting corners and asking the same questions when the file has not changed! Matter afact, is there anything in the file? I mean really, cuz if there was then why would they keep changing (always when they go on "Vacation" we get a new solcial worker)and keep asking me the same damn questions?

Mahtie Bush Dealling with CPS and There Solcial Workers!

They said (CPS) "We dont want him with his parents" but then they give em visitations for an 1hr...do you know what that will do to a 3yr old that has been going from home to home? NOT TO MENTION that when my father told the Judge the same exact thing the judge told him "either you see him 2days a week or you forfit your rights and you will not get your son back"....Now does that even make sense? If that messes with a teenager what do you think that will do to him?

Then switch solcial workers in the middle of a case without letting me know & refer a 3yr old boy to counselling like he got the drug problem...if its not mandatory he will not be doing that. We do not need that coming on his school records and he does not need to be told he needs meds...hes 3yrs old...

Whats crazy is that in the court documents they put the address of where my brother is staying at...thats not supose to be in there thats private info...not to mention before it went to court they didint put any restrictions on my dad just ...getting him and leaving...he coulda just did that so they screwd up again...the system makes up the shit as it goes along straight up...

you should see how many calls a day i get from the city of sac just trying to say one thing or another so that way they get in the case and then they get paid from the state...

How is it that they dont have the info from piss test and drug programs but i can give them the copys of it when they come to visit? They want me to take time off of work to go meet them (the solcial worker) when its there job to make sure hes ok and to meet me and everyone whos in the house. SO since we both work a 9 to 5 job, unless your willing to come meet me on my lunch or meet me at the house after hours, I will not be taking time off...Sorry

I can do there job better then them! All bullshit... Sac News & Review Print That!

Charging for verses?

I have decided to charge for verses from here on out, reason why is because:

1. I have been asked by a lot of artist to be a guest feat on projects and it has taken away from my own projects as well as time with my family.

2. In order for me to gain any type of a budget for my own projects I need to be compensated for the time I put in. I don't make verses just to put em out, I want them to be good because you asked me to be on your project.

3. My resume is solid. I've been on tracks with Rap Icons/Legends and have held my own as well as shared the same stage. I've been over seas, been on Tour, been in Magazines (local and International) and continue to work with artist I look up too.

4. If producers can charge for beats then I WILL charge for verses.

Really I didn't have to explain myself to NO ONE why I'm doing this but there it is. So don't get upset if I want you to send me some bread for a verse in my pay pal account...REMEMBER they call it "The Music Business" for a reason people. Thank You.

Snitching?...Click The Link...CBS 13 Reports....

If you click on this link you will see the video posted by CBS 13 Sac,CA where Maurice Reed Jr. talks about how hes sorry for the murder of
a Natomas High football coach. Read the story as well....

http://www.cbs13.com/video/?id=71397@kovr.dayport.com

Now after watching the video what do you call snitching?

I believe that if your a Witness it is up to you, if you want to talk about what happend...what you saw...Cuz if a grandmother is shot for no reason or a kid has been kidnapped then are you snitching? I dont think so

BUT!!! I DO ALSO BELIEVE that if you where in the crime then you have no right to rat out the other person your with...That to me is Snitching....And this dude is as Guilty as his partner...

Cop Watch

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT...
-To be in a public place and to observe police activity

IF THE POLICE STOP ANYONE....
-Stop and Watch
-Write down the officers name, badge numbers, and car numbers.(COPS MUST BE IDENTIFIED BY NAME OR BADGE NUMBER)

-Write down the time, date and place of the incident and all details as soon as possible.
-Ask if the person is being arrested and if so, on what charge.
-Get witnesses names and contact info
-Try to get the arrestees name but ONLY if the already gave it to the police
-Document any injuries as soon as possible.Photograph them and have a medical report describing details of the injuries.

IF THE POLICE STOP YOU...
-Ask "AM I FREE TO GO?" If not, you are being detained. If YES, walk away.

ASK "WHY ARE YOU DETAINING ME?"
-To stop you, the officer must have a "reasonable suspicion" to suspect your involvement in a specific crime (not just a guess or stereotype)

-It is not a crime to be without ID. If you are being detained OR issued a ticket, you may want to show ID to the cop because they CAN TAKE YOU to the station to verify your identity.

Do you love it?

So I've had to step back and look at the way things are and look at myself before I fell into the trap and noticed that, a lot of yall just are in hip-hop to profit from it financially. Not saying nothing is wrong with making money off of what you love doing, what I'm saying is its wrong to make money off of hip-hop if that's ALL you want to do. Theres a thin line we all walk and yeah, I want to make money for the work I put in. BUT, at the same time even if I don't make no kind of bread from it, I'm still at the end of the day going to continue to be apart of Hip-Hop because I love it.

See some of you just jump in not knowing your history on this, some of you come from a different element of hip-hop and want to be Emcee's, cause its rare to see a Emcee switch up and go to being a DJ Bboy or Graff Writer. Some of you are not good at any of the elements but support Hip-Hop because you truly love it and you know what THATS DOPE! Your not taking room up, and you can sit back away from the politics of it and enjoy what you see and for that I PERSONALLY THANK YOU! We need more people like you out here for reals.

All im trying to say is, love what you do and do what you love. Promoters throw shows and lose money on em all the time and yet, they still throw shows because they love to do it. Bboys crash all the time and they still practice that same move because they want to prove to themselves they can do it. You will get what you put in but you gotta love this or else your taking up room.

In brutality warfare/all is fair in love and war

Fuck who you opened for/I put stops to local tours

Your pure comedy like the US Economy
I'll believe in Aliens before a NATO apology
They turned the Constitution into a mockery
I believe in god/but you all make it a hypocrisy
So I step my game up/to make the same buzz

C-Note(LSC) vs Ali(KHZ) @ "Whats The Scenario?" Sacramento,CA

"What's The Scenario?" in The Sacramento Press

"What's The Scenario" at The Center
by Tony Nichols, published on January 31, 2010 at 9:00PM

Phatso of the Sacramento breakdance crew, Legendary Steps local breaker Buckingham hosted the "What's the Scenario?" 2-on-2 b-boy battle Saturday at the Washington Community Center at D and 16th Streets.

The grand prize for the event was entrance into Loose Screws 11, an invitation-only battle for $2,000 in Atlanta, Ga., on Feb. 20.

"What's the Scenario" hosted more than 50 two-man crews. The professional and amateur duos were vying to reach the top 32 spots in the main event.

Local crews such as Flexible Flave, Legendary Steps, The Outsiders and Underground Flow advanced to the second round. For Sacramento b-boys and b-girls, these local heroes did not fail to impress.

Some of the teams traveled a great distance for a chance at the $2,000 main prize in Georgia. Out-of-towners Knuckle Head Zoo of Las Vegas, Angels of Death of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Hybrid Crew of San Jose showed their best style and represented what hip-hop really means.

Judges Rufy of Italy's Living Dead Army, Flection 1 and MC Mahtie Bush of Sacramento rated performances on style, difficulty, originality, music interaction and technique. Several battles received a split decision, forcing a sudden-death, one-on-one overtime round. The audience met these contests with a roar.

Breakdancing has strict rules against touching the other crew. Several teams almost were disqualified because they brushed against their opponents. The intensity of a battle is hard to capture unless it's seen first-hand. It seems almost impossible to stay six inches from your opponent while spinning on one hand upside down, so precision is just as important as power in this form of dance.

Local DJ Oscar, known as B-boy Clue, held the turntables for most of the night and approval from the crowd came often as favorite jams played. The dancers showed great endurance in the event that lasted from 3 to 8 p.m.

In the final round, it came down to Knuckle Head Zoo and Flexible Flave of Sacramento. The teams battled it out for three grueling rounds until Flexible Flave triumphed. The duo flys to Atlanta this month for the chance to win the Loose Screws 11 national breakdance battle. But already, Flexible Flave's reputation has grown, until the next crew poses a challenge.

"What's the Scenario" showed that hip-hop culture unites, entertains and motivates people from of every age and nationality. Breakdancing didn't lose popularity in the 80's, it just never chased the glitz and glamour that so many other forms of expression did.

It certainly has its place, said Chase Gschweng, who attended the event.

"Whether you realize it or not, there will always be an emcee MC on the microphone, a DJ on the turntables, a graffiti artist with a spray can, and a b-boy tearin' up the floor."

Sacramento & Its Radio Stations....

Aight check it...
KSFM 102.5 Had the Future Flavor Show for a long time that showcased the local Hip-Hop/R&B Talent...Once they told Big AL that they didn't need him on the show no more, the show ratings went down and they canceled it all together...

KBMB has 80West Radio still from what I know...Not to sure at this point due to all the changes THEY are undergoing...getting rid of The Mid Day Diva Nikia's Position and not calling it "The Bomb" any more (Hot 103.5) and from what I heard changing their format to a more "POP" sound...pretty much sounding like 107.9 The End (Which to me 102 & 103 where both on the way to sounding like that anyways cough Sellouts)

Look yall The Sacramento Hip-Hop/R&B stations NEVER REALLY SHOWED US THE LOVE AND RESPECT WE DESERVE ANYWAYS! They threw us bones and we loved em for it...Yeah it did help in some ways but non of us got the air play we know SOME deserve. HELL most of the people in charge aint from sac anyways...Time to let this go they way they have let us (The Artist) go...

Yes there are still stations in the Sac Underground Scene such as Kums.FM SacTownRadio KDVS Sac States Radio Station and all the Internet radio stations and blogs you can think of. Support them! I know you cant hear them in your car like you want or be at your desk to hear your favorite song all the time, but the more support the better chance of them making it...

That's just me...I'm not trying to start any Revolution against the radio stations either so don't think that...They are owned by clowns in suits that don't come to our shows, remember kids its all Marketing Dollars and Ratings...It might not be right in our eyes but that's truth

Backpackramento Album Review by:Dj Tofu

Backpackramento Album Review by:Dj Tofu
from http://www.Tofu916.com

That feeling that Black Moon’s “Enta Da Stage” gave mi while I was stuffing paint cans into mi Jansport backpack, was simply indescribable. Maybe it was the combination of heavy beats, adrenaline, youth and the faint smell of Krylon. Sneaking out of the front door to put mi name on the city walls of Sacramento, beats blasting ( I’m actually surprised that no one ever snuck up behind to rob or arrest mi). The Black Moon tape was mi soundtrack to bombing the city. Every track influenced a different style in which to write.

Such is the case with Sacramento’s own mic controller, Mahtie Bush’s latest LP, Backpackramento. This LP delivers what hip hop purists have been thirsting for since the bling era descended upon us, and emcees, take note, THIS is how to deliver a solid album with alienating your core audience! The album boasts a healthy array of production from such as, Chase Moore, Styles 1001, M.I.Geezus, Mic Jordan, DJ Filth and a slew of others – and special guest features….however, not an overdose of features. Rap (particularly west coast) artists are all-too-focused on having features without first establishing themselves as strong soloists! Cameos from Keith Murray (whoa), Chino XL, The Alumni, Wyzdom of Verbal Venom, Flo Montana and Young Cee are very well selected. Every guest spits flawlessly and isn’t overexposed, leaving the artist room to do what he/she does best; entertain us. THAT’S how you do a solo album, fellas!

The track I cant stop knocking is the third, and one of the strongest tracks, “Get Low”. Paying homage to The City of Trees, the break beat smacks the shit out of you and reminds you that Styles 1001 did NOT come to fuck around! I want to see Mahtie perform this song live and watch the crowd brock-out (I will be right there, going dumb)! “I’m from a place that aint safe, Blacks and Ese’s, Russians and Asians will bury you like Dorothea Puente!” How can you go wrong with that? Slapping the face of those who mock the cultural hip hoppers known as ‘backpackers’.

Backpackramento has something for everyone, including concepts (I know what you’re thinking. concepts in music? weird). From the knocker mentioned above, to disturbing drug ballads like “Doing Fine”. Ladies, Mahtie doesn’t forget about you either! The dance-floor heavy “Yes” (featuring Young Cee, Wyzdom, and Keith Murray) will give you that wind in your waist, while “Out of Reach” is that super-ballad. I’m not really a fan of ballads, but they are an essential component in any hip hop album. Maybe something for you female fans to finger-bang yourselves to…? Finally, “Is She Out There?” is the classic, radio-friendly-finger-banger…and by the end of this track, I’m convinced that Mahtie Bush wants a serious relationship with a girl with healthy masturbatory habits! ha!

Mahtie Bush - Throw Back Battle on The 916 Leak (2005)

Ok so this battle happened on Sunday Feb 19th 2005 while I was being interviewed by EQ and DJ Supe who hosted The 916 Leak...I thought this would be a fun lil clip to throw up really quick....so enjoy!
